　　How tired I am! Looking at the night lamp, I think about nothing in particular. I also don’t feel like saying anything. Soft music comes from the radio. It makes me more tired and sleepy. My eyelids[1] are feeling heavy. Suddenly, it occurs[2] to me that I haven’t done my homework yet.

　　What a shame! I have to turn off the radio and open my math exercise book. “Which of the six graphs best represents each function?” reads the title. The work is not difficult for me, but I am weary and when I see the mountainous pile of books on my left, I really don’t want to do any more. Sometimes I hate having to read so many books. I don’t know why we have to read all kinds of books and take so many boring examinations.

　　Some teachers divide students into groups according to how high their marks are. It seems that students with different marks are treated differently. It is a good idea but do teachers really know how a “bad-student” thinks? I guess it’s a worst way. As we know, some Nobel winners were actually bad students, while none of the top students ever win it. What do you think about it?

　　I appreciate how difficult it is for the teachers. They also want to do their best at work and they have thought of a lot of ways to give us the best education. However, at present, teachers feel tired and so do we.

　　Everyone, including students, teachers, parents etc., expects the education system to change. As the students, we all need to study in the same wonderful sunshine. I should let you know, that what the students need is knowledge but not necessarily high marks.

　　It’s 12 o’clock now. I hope that I didn’t get too carried away musing[1] over these problems. Anyhow, I have to prepare for tomorrow’s test. I really don’t want to say anymore.
